Further development of your processes

We support you in further developing your internal BIM processes. This includes establishing consistent modeling standards, integrating BIM into existing workflows, and making effective long-term use of structured BIM data for future projects.

What Are the Benefits?

Speed, accuracy, and greater planning reliability.

By outsourcing the modeling process, your planning team can focus entirely on the actual design work. You benefit from a cost-efficient and predictable solution with a high degree of flexibility, transparent costs, and short turnaround times.

Thanks to our extensive experience in BIM and 3D modeling, we deliver high-quality results and enable you to scale your team flexibly – for example, when handling larger or more complex projects.

The Project Workflow with Miviso

The collaboration begins with the handover of your existing design or planning data. Based on this, we jointly define the modeling scope, level of detail, and intended use. We then create the 3D BIM model, incorporate feedback loops, and deliver the final data in a structured, ready-to-use format.

What data do I need to provide?

Input Data & Technical Requirements

We work with a wide range of file formats and planning stages. These include digital sketches, designs and plans in PDF format, models and drawings from CAD software such as Archicad, Revit, Vectorworks, Allplan, Rhino, etc., as well as conventional AutoCAD drawings.

This allows us to integrate seamlessly into your existing workflow without requiring additional preparation on your side.

MODEL REQUIREMENTS

Taking the intended use into account, we evaluate the requirements for the 3D model and determine the information needed for its creation.

QUOTATION

Based on the jointly defined model requirements, you receive a fixed-price quotation including a schedule for completion.

IMPLEMENTATION

Once the quotation has been approved and all required information (e.g. plans, sketches, etc.) has been provided, we create the model according to the agreed schedule.
If desired, we provide regular progress updates, share interim versions, or collaborate with you via BIM 360.

DELIVERY

You receive the completed 3D model, including drawings if required, in your preferred file formats.

How much does a 3D Model from Miviso cost?

We provide an individual, non-binding quotation for every project. The price depends on the required level of detail, the size of the building, and its complexity.

If you already have a project in mind, give us a call or send us an email with any information you already have about the project. We will be happy to provide you with a transparent quotation tailored to your specific project.

FAQs

Here we answer frequently asked questions about the modeling scope, required input data, delivery formats, turnaround times, and possible model extensions.

Which CAD software does Miviso use?

We mainly work with Revit, Archicad, and AutoCAD. Our team also has experience with Vectorworks, Allplan, and Rhino.

In which file formats is the 3D model delivered?

We deliver the model both in its native format (e.g. .rvt or .pla) and in the open exchange format .ifc.

2D drawings are delivered as .pdf files and visualizations as .jpg files.

How long does it take to create a 3D model?

This primarily depends on the size and complexity of the building as well as the required level of detail (LOD 200, LOD 300, or LOD 400).

For projects with a low level of detail and limited complexity, several thousand m² of gross floor area (GFA) can be modeled per person per day. For complex listed or historic buildings in LOD 400, the modeling rate may be less than 100 m² GFA per person per day.

A certain amount of preparation time is also required to become familiar with a new project or project partner. Our Hypo Tirol Bank project is a good example of typical modeling times and our efficient workflow.

How detailed are your 3D models?

We model each 3D model to the level of detail required for its intended use. During a kick-off meeting, we jointly define the appropriate level of detail (LOD 200, LOD 300, or LOD 400).

For a better understanding of what the different levels of detail include, take a look at our LOD Guide, which you can download free of charge.
